Training Forum
On Monday, 6th May, I spoke to about 700 educators at the Training Forum coordinated by the Department of Education and Training. I was able to share some insight about the Generation Y Learner. Do the different generations learn differently? I think so. The new mediums of learning for Gen Y include podcasts, blogs, e-course, e-books and more. I think the influence of TV and media has had a huge influence on learning. Gen Y's are used to multiple stimuli - like the latest Wii machine. I think as educators, if we don't immersive them in the learning then we lose them.
It was great to have the opportunity to share information about the 21st Century Learner!
